Congratulations, graduates!
On behalf of the WVU Alumni Association, it is an honor to celebrate this incredible milestone with you. As you cross the stage, turn your tassel, and sit next to your classmates one last time, it’s hard not to think about everything that brought you here. The early mornings, late nights, moments of uncertainty, and the friendships and memories that made it all worthwhile. Morgantown has a way of becoming more than a place. It becomes part of you.
And while this chapter is coming to a close, the story doesn’t end here.
Being a Mountaineer doesn’t stop at graduation, but instead, it simply takes on a new meaning. You’ll find it in the familiar sound of “Country Roads” when you least expect it, in a Flying WV spotted miles from Morgantown, or in the instant connection you feel when meeting a fellow alum. Wherever life takes you, you are part of an alumni community more than 200,000+ strong, always ready to welcome you in. As an alum, you carry forward the spirit, pride, and traditions that make being a Mountaineer so special. No matter where life takes you next, you’ll forever have a home here and a community that’s cheering you on.
