Accessibility Services

Graduating Students

Graduates needing accessibility services should contact their accessibility specialist.

Guests

Accessible seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis for the individual needing a seat plus one companion. Once you have arrived at the graduation venue, event staff will be happy to direct you to the designated seating areas. The Coliseum is ADA compliant with ADA parking in the front of the building. A valid handicap placard will be required for handicap parking. Shuttles and golf carts will be running through the parking lots to assist guests who may have mobility issues and be parked farther away. If you have questions about accessibility, please contact the campus ADA Coordinator

Interpreting Services

Guests in need of sign language interpreting should request an interpreter with the Office of Accessibility Services at least seven business days prior to the scheduled commencement ceremony. To request an Interpreter, please contact Jason.Kapcala@mail.wvu.edu.
