Congratulations, graduates!
On behalf of the WVU Alumni Association, I’m glad to celebrate this incredible milestone with you. Today is a day to pause and to take it all in, from the weight of your cap and gown, spotting your loved ones in the stands, the sound of your name echoing through the Coliseum, to locking arms to sing “Country Roads” together one last time. These moments mark the culmination of everything you've been working toward as a WVU student.
While your time as a student may be ending, your WVU journey is far from over. You'll be reminded of your Mountaineer family whenever you spot someone with a Flying WV hat in the airport, hear “Country Roads” playing, or drive by a car with a WVU decal. No matter where these country roads lead you next, our network of 200,000+ WVU alumni across the globe will be there with you.
