Guests
Seating
West Virginia University asks that all guests remain in their designated seats during the ceremony. Guests are not permitted to approach the stage to take photos, present gifts, or congratulate their graduates.
Attire
Blouses, collared shirts, sweaters, slacks, khakis, skirts, and dresses are appropriate commencement attire. Dressing in layers of breathable fabrics is advised so that you may find your own comfort level during the ceremony.
Assistance
Gold and Blue Student Ambassadors will be on-site to assist with parking and directing. If you have questions, be sure to stop and ask!

Flowers
Flowers will be available for purchase (cash only). A variety of options will be available and come in custom blue and gold packaging. Proceeds benefit WVU’s Horticulture and Plant and Soil Sciences clubs.
